Last week article was about my role as a creative director of a recent photoshoot I worked on.(Read here) The week that followed was time to return all the garments to respective designers and PR houses. On the same day, I also had a meeting for a new project I will be working on. If everything goes as planned, will probably be the biggest task I have ever set myself to do…So stay tuned to find out.

After the meeting, we shoot some pictures of my outfit with an iPhone by the way.Though, most of my outfits lately have been all about work comfort.Complimented with ankle boots and a sparkly one in this case.

I was recently offered this male oversized sweater which I have been hooked on since. It is an easy fit and the faux leather on the sleeves adds a sleek finish.Worn with an old but goody high waisted patched jeans, then a sleeveless denim jacket was added to seal the street is chic look.

Ps: Another alternative for the Not-so-keen on heels will be a traditional pair of trainers for a more casual look.

Jacket:(Gap Past season) Splurge on this Alexander Wang or save on Signature 8

Jumper: Try this Robert Rodriguez  or Bailey 44

Jeans: here Monki or try these 7 for All Mind Kind

Boots: Zara/Try these Sigerson Morrisson or splurge on these Balenciaga

Black for halloween

With me being Cameroonian, there are celebrations I am not used to such as Halloween. I’m still trying to understand why people have to hang out down the streets, wearing scary costumes, which really do freak me out….

For this year celebration of Halloween, I hopped on the trend with fashion and I was in a mood for black…The color black is usually known to be elegant and easy to wear, so,  even though it is not my favorite one, I decided to build on a black color tone to create my Halloween costume. I came up with a stylish outfit version of  Dracula, that I named Blackula.

Blackula Outfit

This military style trench coat is a mix of cotton and polyester with the red satin on the reverse that adds a fresh element to the outerwear option.Underneath,I layered  a cropped tank with an oversize off shoulder cotton jumper.Paired with a Soft-touch scuba high waist skirt. Then for the shoes,I opted for a studded straps details and zipped ankle boots.

The best part is I could compose with a moderate budget and create the blackula outfit with items available on the high street:

  • Trench coat:Mark&Spencer
  •  Jumper:Vintage
  • Cropped tank & tights: Topshop
  • Skirt: Asos (on sale here)

I would love to know about your Halloween fashion outfits so please do not hesitate to send me pictures and describe what inspired you. Please share your views with me in the comment section below.

P.S. A great alternative to this coat will a biker jacket (like here).Or if the skirt is not for you,try a pair of distress skinny jeans
