In this serie of fall for brown is all about that time of year where less skin is shown and most colors get tonned down.
1-I wore this outfit for lunch during my stay in Cambridge a while back.It is about playing with different shades of brown and earthy hues. The cropped and tailored jacket is a perfect piece for this time of the year.
The texture of the fabric is worn but with authentic detail. The A line tie die skirt has a splash of blue between the tones of brown which brings a lovely highlight in the two tones.I paired the outfit with my beloved red ankle Casadei boots bringing a contrast accent to the whole look. Also to keep up with the earthy tones, I added the an artisan pair of earrings.

2-The second outfit was worn when I went shopping for boxing day in Central London. The style is all about comfort and mixing yet matching different textures. With the wide velvet pair of trousers which is a favorite ,paired with a denim shirt, a wardrobe staple. But could also be paired with a white t-shirt for the cool girls and a pair of converse trainers if you just can’t be bothered with heels. Then I added the chocolate brown wool grid trench, which is nicely tailored with modern finishes.

3-The third outfit,is the smart and sassy lady who has an edge. With the layering of a black turtle neck tank under the sturdy wrapped up kimono. Perfect for work, a meeting with clients or ladies of creative field on an Autumn day. With an addition of the classic Prada Saffiano bag.Overall we have conservative look, yet thought-through.

With fashion constantly travelling back and forth, I like to think that whatever we wear, doesn’t have to belong to a specific time of trends,so that we are simply never out of fashion and always try to remain true to myself.
So this Autumn/winter consider shade of brown as a substitutes for black and style your favorites with mellow tones. If brown isn’t for you, find a way to bring different shades of the same color ,by adding different styles and graphic print patterns.
PS: Don’t underestimate the elegance of a conservative ensemble. If well-fitting and properly styled, modest pieces become more stylish than stuffy.
