In this post it is all about layering for different seasons.
A lot of us have a totally different wardrobe for each season, but most of us don’t. I have always loved the idea of making the most out of clothes so let me share a few tricks with you.
Velvet and surreal stripes, that were seen on the catwalk at Valentino and Haider Ackermann, inspired this outfit : a Velvet blazer. In order to layer this outfit for Autumn, add a blazer of your choice, a scarf is optional and for shoes anything from Chelsea boots to ankle boots or even cool trainers for a smart retro take.
In Spring, layers come off and we start wearing a jumper

We add a trench coat,plus over the knee boots, a scarf and we are sorted.
Back to Autumn again,
Here, we add a brown tweed blazer , then play with the autumnal colors.
We add a pastel touch as the sun start to shine and our feet can finally breathe,therefore this pair of high heels sandals or some ankle boots will be just fine too.
Summer -Hooray!!time to shine bright with a touch of prints!!
Close up Details;
In this serie of fall for brown is all about that time of year where less skin is shown and most colors get tonned down.
1-I wore this outfit for lunch during my stay in Cambridge a while back.It is about playing with different shades of brown and earthy hues.The cropped and tailored jacket is a perfect piece for this time of the year.
The texture of the fabric is worn but with authentic detail. The A line tie die skirt has a splash of blue between the tones of brown which brings a lovely highlight in the two tones.I paired the outfit with my beloved red ankle Casadei boots bringing a contrast accent to the whole look.Also to keep up with the earthy tones, I added the an artisan pair of earrings.

2-The second outfit was worn when I went shopping for boxing day in Central London.The style is all about comfort and mixing yet matching different textures. With the wide velvet pair of trousers which is a favorite ,paired with a denim shirt, a wardrobe staple.But could also be paired with a white t-shirt for the cool girls and a pair of converse trainers if you just can’t be bothered with heels.Then I added the chocolate brown wool grid trench,which is nicely tailored with modern finishes.

3-The third outfit,is the smart and sassy lady who has an edge.With the layering of a black turtle neck tank under the sturdy wrapped up kimono. Perfect for work, a meeting with clients or ladies of creative field on an Autumn day. With an addition of the classic Prada Saffiano bag.Overall we have conservative look, yet thought-through.

With fashion constantly travelling back and forth, I like to think that whatever we wear, doesn’t have to belong to a specific time of trends,so that we are simply never out of fashion and always try to remain true to myself.
So this Autumn/winter consider shade of brown as a substitutes for black and style your favorites with mellow tones.If brown isn’t for you,find a way to bring different shades of the same color ,by adding different styles and graphic print patterns.
PS: Don’t underestimate the elegance of a conservative ensemble. If well-fitting and properly styled, modest pieces become more stylish than stuffy.
So let me know,how will you be styling your shades this winter?Share with me.Let’s talk fashion!!!
